for Stopping Human Trafficking
Invites you to participate in a 1.2 mile walk to raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking
When: Friday, November 9 at 7 p.m. (Bring rain gear – we walk at 7 regardless)
Where: UMKC Campus (Meet at: 5115 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64112 – across from Pizza 51 – at the bottom of the staircase)
Cost: $12 per person but only $1.20 per child under the age of 12
Registration: Begins at 6 p.m. Please bring a check (“The Stop Trafficking Project”) or cash for the total of those walking in your group or family
Invite everyone you can think of to walk with you!
Why: Because human trafficking exists globally and locally and there is something we can do about it together!

…we will walk 1.2 miles – starting/ending at the bottom of the UMKC Student Building steps
…we will engage in the “only12” campaign
NOTE: For off campus participants there is pay parking on Oak Street directly across from where the walk will begin and end. The cost is $1 per hour.
